Jonathan Mitchener - Futurologist & Principal Research Scientist, Devices, BT
Since joining BT in 1988, Jonathan Mitchener has undertaken a wide range of roles, including research, systems deployment, and technology & management consultancy. His current role as BT Futurologist results in him working with executive and senior strategists in various companies to help them understand the impacts of future disruptive technologies on their businesses. He has a special interest in device and gadget futures, which resonates within a whole range of business and personal life contexts. He recently authored the chapter on device futures within the book, ICT Futures. Jonathan has recently been appointed to the advisory board for the BBC's science magazine 'Focus' as futures expert. Simon joined Edelman in 2007 having already made his mark as a leading UK PR and marketing blogger with an acute understanding of how the Internet is shaping the communications landscape. As Head of Digital Culture and Emerging Media, Simon helps Edelman deliver digital thought leadership and creative strategy to its top-tier global clients in a range of industries spanning the corporate and consumer sectors. As well as practical expertise in helping clients adapt to an emerging digital society, Simon has also completed academic research examining the shifting role of political communications in the online space. Before the heady days of digital communications, Simon worked in PR and policy roles with a number of national NGOs.

Jamie has been working within the digital advertising industry since 2000 and at Profero she monitors trends, innovations and new technologies within the market and advises clients how best connect with audiences through digital communications. Jamie is a keen blogger and the founder of Freshen Me Up, a blog that looks at emerging trends, technological advances and communications. She is also Senior Trend Hunter for Trend Hunter magazine where she reports on future trends, from a marketing communications perspective, and was also cited as one of the world's top 10 Trend Hunters by the magazine in their 2008 report. She is also host for the London arm of Likemind where forward thinking people meet monthly and share their opinions on future trends.

CHAIR: Richard Titus - Head of User Experience, BBC Future Media and Technology
Richard is responsible for the global user experience on the BBC's non linear platforms (including Internet, mobile, ITV and iPlayer). He provides thought leadership to the BBC's Future Media & Technology division and helps drive strategy and delivery of its products and services. Richard has founded or co-founded seven firms in his diverse entrepreneurial career; including one of the first interactive agencies, Tag media, which later became Razorfish Los Angeles. More recently, he co-founded and served as President and Vice Chairman of Schematic, a 300+ person interactive agency based in Los Angeles, New York & Atlanta.
Andrew Orlowski - Executive Editor, The Register
Andrew Orlowski is Executive Editor at The Register, for whom he reported on two Silicon Valley technology bubbles from San Francisco. A regular pundit on TV and radio, and a veteran contributor to Private Eye, he is currently writing a history of technology and utopias.
