Developed by Crystal Semantics, ‘Textonomy™ SiteScreen’ is fullyautomated and works alongside ad servers to check content beforean ad is served.

It marks the first time that an online ad network can accuratelycontrol where every ad is placed in real time and confidentlyprotect client brands.

An intelligent language-based filtering system, SiteScreenenables advertisers to select specific content categories toexclude from their campaigns. It works by analysing individualpages, identifying controversial content and blocking ad servingto inappropriate locations.*

Fully automated and pre-emptive, SiteScreen far exceeds currentindustry best-practice for ad serving, which is based onvoluntary codes and periodic manual checking of websites’overall content.

SiteScreen has been in development since December 2005. It isbased on the work of 40 world language experts, eight years ofresearch and investment to date of over US$8m.
